Our Philosophy

Rooted in Wisconsin.

Oak & Origin was founded on a simple premise: residential construction should be an act of collaboration, not friction. We are builders, carpenters, and project managers dedicated to the craft of living well.

Jason Simonson

Director of Construction

Jason’s passion for building began at 17, when he helped construct his first home through his high school building trades program. A lifelong Wisconsinite and UW–Platteville graduate, he brings more than 20 years of residential construction experience spanning estimating, purchasing, warranty, project management and construction leadership.

At Oak & Origin, Jason works closely with homeowners to translate their vision, lifestyle, and priorities into homes that are thoughtful, functional and built to last. His approach centers on clear communication, transparency, craftsmanship and attention to detail. Outside of work, Jason is a father of three and enjoys supporting his children’s sports, activities and everyday adventures.

Built together, with care.

Every home depends on skilled trade partners and careful coordination. Jason works closely with the people bringing each discipline to the project, keeping communication, craftsmanship, and the agreed plans at the center of the work.

Your home starts with a coversation.
